What are the commonalities between Vente patients? Below are a few items that have been observed over the years.
They have had chronic pain and tightness for a very long time
“Long time” can be from months to even years. Many have had stubborn, hard-to-release areas. These chronically tight spots can be a good fit for Vente deep tissue massage.
The patients will usually comment that they have tried many forms of treatment with minimal long term results. In fact, we are often the last on the list for therapy. This is because the techniques are painful and aggressive.
A patient who has almost lost hope is ready to try anything. They are more than willing to throw the kitchen sink at the issue. This is where we come into play with our 25 years of experience.
They have tried many different therapies
Typically, the feedback has been that patients have had a chronic issue for a very long time. They have tried multiple therapies. Sometimes it is the same therapy but with different people. They tend to get some relief but end up noticing symptoms return in a few days. I want to reiterate that we are far from the “ultimate solution”. We are merely stating that our approach is different and we look at the root cause versus just the symptoms. For many this approach has helped ease their symptoms, sometimes dramatically.
Highly educated and have done their research
This seems like a very broad statement. Patients that require Vente deep tissue massage are highly educated. They have done a tonne of research on their condition and have done a deep dive on what we do.
We understand if we fit into a person’s treatment plan. I am willing to admit that we have this good idea. We know just by the questions they ask and the conversations via email or on the phone that occur.
I usually ask, “Do you know what we exactly do?” And the answer is usually is, yes. Vente deep tissue massage patients know our style because they have studied our website or have researched on the internet. A typical future patient will comment on how we directly convey what the treatment is about. They will say it was clear exactly what we do.
They ask a lot of questions
Vente deep tissue massage patients ask a lot of questions. I think a big reason for this is that they see their health as an investment. They want to make sure they make an informed choice. Just like any good investor, they will ask questions.
Patients who have had chronic pain and tightness for a long time, deserve time to have their questions answered and we do welcome them. We do our best to answer their questions.
The fascia has been either ignored, treated minimally or the pressure seemed insufficient
Many Vente deep tissue massage patients will comment on the degree of focus on the fascia and the depth of treatment. Fascia is a base of what we do at Vente Pain Relief Clinic. At times what can happen is that the fascia has been minimally treated. In some treatments if there is a lot of involvement by the fascia, I can spend half an hour to 45 minutes just on releasing it!
Is it painful? You bet!? Especially if the issue is long standing and chronic. Combining the deep pressure and the techniques to the fascia is an art. We take great pride in this art!
