Health Tip: Proper Posture; What is it?

Good posture can help prevent pain and discomfort. There are many chronic conditions that stem from chronic improper posture. Prolonged postures can tighten fascia and muscles. This can lead to pain and discomfort over time. Find out what the theoretical “proper” posture should look like. In this video, you will identify the key locations on your body. These locations need to be aligned to maintain good posture. Watch the video to learn more.

As a Massage Therapist, I am prone to rotating my body from right to left. This posture actually causes issues with my pelvis causing hip and lower back pain. For myself, I need to do exercises that correct this.
